My name is Emine Seckin Bozgüney.
I am a graduate of Industrial Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University and come from Turkey. After my graduation, I worked as a Quality Assurance engineer in an automotive company, TEMSA A.S. in Adana.
After graduating from bachelor and two years of job experience, it was a hard decision to turn back to studying. Even though this decision seems to be risky; I can say for sure, it is much more exciting to study EuroMPM in Dortmund and worth to take this risk. Being one of the first students of EuroMPM in Dortmund is a big chance.
At the end of the second semester, I learned how to manage not only the content of project but also the context of the project. In addition to project management, business management topics that are widely used in business are also taught. Simulation, decision tables, decision rules, mind mapping are some of the topics taught. Our research activities related to these topics and tools can also reflect our strength in these topics. Next to these academic activities, practical experience is one of the focuses of EuroMPM. There are many national and international companies around Dortmund. When the close relationship of University of Applied Sciences Dortmund with the industry is also considered, it is easy to contact with companies and to get practical experience. At the third semester, I visited Bilbao University for the specialization of Quality management.
After three semesters in EuroMPM in Dortmund, I feel myself very lucky to be in this program.
